Press and hold X + D-Pad Down for around 8 seconds.
Keep holding until the red LED(near speaker) lights up.
Press the back button (or paddle) you want to program, then press the button on the controller you want to assign to it.
The red LED will flash twice to confirm the button has been assigned.
Repeat Step 3 for each remaining back button or paddle.
Press and hold D-Pad Down for around 2 seconds. The LED will turn off.
Your controller is now ready to use. Assignable buttons: X, Circle, Triangle, Square, D-Pad (any direction), L1, R1, L3, R3.
